T20 champion

Pakistan cricket team has once again proved that cricket is a game of great uncertainty. Once the tournament started no one expected them to reach even the group of four. The Pakistan team for the last one year couldn't play any international cricket on their home soil. Most of the international cricket teams like Australia and West Indies scheduled to visit Pakistan have cancelled their tour and obviously the decision was right due to security problems. The things which are happening in Pakistan for the last year are truly worrying. Nevertheless I should salute the Sri Lankan cricket team that despite so much risk they have toured Pakistan. Thank God that they have escaped death narrowly! India's exit from the T 20 tournament was very surprising. With such a strong batting and bowling line up it was very sad to believe that they will not be in the group of four. Defending champions India's performance at the league level was also very poor and due to that they have failed to move to the next round. The defeat of Australia at the beginning of the tournament was a bolt from the blue. Pakistan have shown why they are called the "most unpredictable" team in the world. With a fragile batting line up and a few experienced players with them they have proved that they can beat any team in the world. Thanks to Pakistan team for their brilliant performance with both bat and ball and becoming the T20 World Champion. Being an Asian, I am proud that an Asian team has lifted the T 20 trophy for the second time.
