Michael Jackson's legacy

Michael Jackson, the greatest music legend, the most popular star of modern times passed away quietly in his LA home. Most tragically, no one would ever know his last wishes and dreams. But surely he dreamt of yet another comeback with musical nukes to conquer the world once again. His comeback concert was to be held in London for which he and his team were preparing. But destiny cut his life short. When Jackson was in his peak in the early 1980s, we were not even born. In fact, our dads and moms grew with him and his incredible dance and music kept them rocking all their lives. When we started learning about western music, we didn't know much about this great rocking pop star whose single album “Thriller” was the best selling album in history (over 50 million copies sold). We were amazed and awed as we watched his videos one by one. He made the world believe with conviction that he was indeed the best star till date. We know of Elvis Presley, the star of the early 1960s (whose daughter Jackson later married). We know of his craze among the young ladies who mobbed him wherever he went. Later, many a star adorned the international musical stage but not to the extent Jackson did.

King of pop Michael Jackson is one of my most favourite singers. It is still unbelievable that he is no more. He was only 50. He was the most talented singer and a superb dancer. In his premature death the world has lost a real gem, which never can be recouped. With my heavy heart I pay my tribute to him. I pray to Allah for the salvation of his departed soul.
