Tourism

The comments made by a UK citizen named Mr. Timothy Barnos published on 15 July 2009 in The Daily Star on the article of Engineer Shafi Ahmed drew my attention. I appreciate the comments of Mr. Barnos who provided a good idea in a nutshell about the promotion of tourism attractions of Bangladesh in the eyes of a tourist. Obviously tourists won't visit Bangladesh to see Las Vegas and Copies of the Eiffel Tower or the replica of Taj Mahal. I agree with his views “The attractions of Bangladesh for tourists are in its scenery and culture.” The magical tapestry in green with all the glory of its past and the splendid colours of the country are the main tourist attractions of Bangladesh. Many tour operators of Bangladesh believe without having casino or any other fun and amusement, Bangladesh cannot attract tourists. I think at the comments of Mr. Barnes will change their belief.
