Bangladesh Bank's job?

I fully agree with DSE's view regarding Bangladesh Bank's recent move of 'controlling' the stock market. It has other jobs to do and there is the SEC to look after these issues. On what authority could the bank intervene even if we agree that there was manipulation in share trading. There is a separate entity to look into these with all the expertise and experience. Let them handle it professionally. Bangladesh Bank in the recent past came up with several controversial issues like fixing the lending rate at 13% in a country which pursues market economy. Now they have engaged themselves in stock market activities. Stock Market is a very sensitive issue and it requires appropriate understanding of the subject. Moreover, can they ensure confidentiality of the portfolio of the institution concerned? It is better that they remain within their jurisdiction.
