It is an unwanted situation that in district and upazila level, the conflict between the administration and the police aggravates the law and order situation.
It is acute after the separation of the judiciary. Now police wants to work under the direction of the judiciary, but what will happen to the executive branch? The judiciary and the executive both need police assistance for running their administration smoothly.
If police doesn't want to help the executive, then how will the administration work?
A good solution is that police will be divided into two branches.
The judicial police would be under the district judge and executive police under the DC.
The government should think seriously about the matter.
