University webpages
The other day I was looking for information on undergraduate admission in different public university websites for my sister who has just passed HSC examinations. After a few hours of browsing, I became surprised at the lack of information available on the various sites I browsed.
I never tried to find information in web when I was in Bangladesh because I was not familiar with web browsing as it is very normal going to different universities in person for collecting admission forms and information on the courses. But the situation has changed because now I am in the United Kingdom and trying to find a suitable course in a university for my sister. And this made me think about the current poor situation of our web technology in Bangladesh.
The webpages of our major public universities are not at all helpful, nor are they informative for prospective students who face tough choices after passing the HSC.
When will the situation change for the better?
