Bank recruitment
Though some banks allow graduates from different disciplines such as English, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Public Administration etc. to sit for their recruitment exams, most of the banks prefer candidates from commerce background. I think it is not necessary to have a BBA degree to compete for a bank job. After recruitment, a bank official can excel in his/her career through practical learning and banking operations. Besides, different institutions provide foundation courses and various training programmes to develop the skills of the budding bankers. Considering this, banks should welcome candidates from all disciplines to sit for their competitive exams.
