Most of the politicians of Bangladesh are considered corrupt. So, it is sure that any politician as the chief of the interim government will not be acceptable to others.

It is not a bad idea to form an election time govt. without Sheikh Hasina, but I doubt that Khaleda Zia would accept it.

The opposition should have insisted on strengthening the election commission. However, they decided to focus on caretaker government. The AL-proposed framework of interim government also has enough merit to be reckoned with.
