Tragedy always has a way of making inroads into the lives of the poor in this country, always leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. And yet it will not do to call the death and destruction in Savar a replay of Greek tragedy, for it was caused by man's inhumanity to man. Rana Plaza, from that perspective, will remain a dark symbol of the greed of the few to the detriment of the many. Hundreds of innocent lives were lost in Savar. Thousands more will bear the scars for the rest of their lives. And perhaps tens of thousands, dependent on the dead and the maimed for daily survival, will now be pushed into the dark. Observe, in these images, the cracking of the heart, the death of the soul, the thousand misfortunes this country goes through. ......................................................................................
