Formalin-free Mexican mango
Up until now, I was under the impression that mango was a native fruit of Bangladesh. The other day, our daughter bought some mangoes from Wal-Mart. I had not tasted any mango since we left Bangladesh about two years ago. Upon my return from work, I saw the mangoes on a fruit tray on the dining table. I simply could not refrain myself from eating the mangoes right away.
After eating a couple of mangoes, I thought of looking at the stickers on the mangoes with the high hope that the mangoes were coming from Bangladesh. To my utter surprise, the stickers said, "Produce of Mexico." I was frustrated but then the mangoes must have been formalin-free. I tasted a native fruit from a different source in a far away country, which was formalin-free!
