Make budget pro-people
Finance minister has unveiled the Tk. 222,491 crore national budget on last Thursday. It is certainly a lavish budget but the finance minister has claimed that the budget is achievable, even though it is ambitious. People have blasted the government's decision to allow money whitening again. Some expressed frustration over the rising prices of essentials. We think, national budget should be people-oriented, keeping political interests aside.
