Wrongdoers will face legal action, Tarique tells party men

Warning BNP leaders and activists, party chairman Tarique Rahman has said that those who commit wrongdoing will face the law.

He made the remark at an election rally at the Central Eidgah ground in Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla at 12:45am on Monday.

The party chief said, “You have seen in the past that when the BNP was in power, some of our leaders and activists were involved in unethical acts that caused public suffering. We handed them over to the law. Do you remember? So, BNP leaders and activists must remain careful. If anyone is found acting beyond the law, they will face legal action."

“There will be nothing you can do. I will also be unable to do anything,” he added.
