People suffering: It's not just news!
A news was published in TDS on July 16 about the erosion of river Jamuna. The erosion of Jamuna has devoured 200 homesteads in just three days in the four unions of Daulatpur upazila in Manikganj. I know this type of news appears on newspapers quite often. But do we think for a moment that it is not just a news? There are many things hiding behind the news… the tears of the victims of those 200 households… their pains and agony of losing home and everything.
We just read the news and look for the next news while sipping tea from our mugs. We are too busy thinking about the development of this country. But we have no time to think about these hapless people.
