Provide public toilet facility at Hatirjheel
Hatirjheel project has become a popular place to all the city dwellers, irrespective of age or class, for its charming beauty. People go there to spend time with their friends and family and to have a morning or afternoon walk. Although the main objectives of this project were to connect the eastern and western part of Dhaka, reduce traffic jam, improve Dhaka's drainage and sewerage system, etc., the place is also being used by people who want to breathe in some fresh air in this polluted city. This lake will also be used for controlling flood in Gulshan, Banani and adjacent areas. In every amusement park or resort where people go to enjoy their time, public toilet facility is a must. Unfortunately, there is no public toilet in Hatirjheel project. The management of this project should install public toilets at least at two corners of the site. At the same time, it must be ensured that the public toilets are kept clean and hygienic. And if required, they can impose minimal charge for using those.
