We are speechless seeing the photos of eight dead school kids in some dailies. Aged between 7 and 10, they were the apples of their parents' eyes. But a killer truck took away their lives all on a sudden. They were returning home from school in a school van. This accident reminds us of the Mirsarai tragedy in which lives of 44 school children were cut short when they were returning home after watching a football match. How long will we have to see this type of accident? Who knows the answer? We propose that these killers be awarded the harshest punishment in speedy trial courts.
