Rising health hazards
According to World Health Organization (WHO), “Health may be defined as a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely absence of disease or infirmity.”
Without eating proper food, none can maintain good health. But it is very alarming that our fruits, vegetables and fishes are adulterated with formalin and other harmful chemicals. How can we expect that these adulterated foods will give us sound health? Formalin and other harmful chemicals have carcinogenic effect which may cause cancer, gastritis etc. The people of Bangladesh expect the government to take preventive measures to stop adulteration of food.
