The water of the Buriganga has been polluted by the industrial and household wastes. We know that Wasa partly collects water from the Buriganga, treats it and serves it to us. How costly is it to clean such pitch-black and muddy water? It is time to take action against the industries that are polluting the Buriganga. The Buriganga is the lifeline of Dhaka. We must save the Buriganga and our environment at any cost.
