Bangladesh, a country ranked 7th among the top 10 nations most affected by climate change and disasters, is witnessing the strength and determination of its residents in the face of adversity. As extreme weather conditions continue to pose significant challenges, particularly to the poor and women, a multi-donor collaborative initiative known as the Local Government Initiative on Climate Change (LoGIC) is working tirelessly to empower vulnerable communities. Recently, I had the privilege of visiting five districts and eight Upazilas in Bangladesh, documenting the stories of those affected and the extraordinary efforts being made to combat the impacts of climate change.
