The new speaker
Congratulations to Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury on her becoming the speaker of our national parliament. She has also the honour of being the country's first ever woman speaker.
As far as I know, Dr. Sharmin Chowdhury has an outstanding record of academic accomplishment and professional competence. I sincerely wish her success in discharging the great responsibility bestowed upon her by the nation.
