True taste of democracy
The government has imposed a ban on political programmes across the country for a month, which is very undemocratic. As per the media reports, only three districts namely Patuakhali, Barguna and Bhola are badly affected by cyclone 'Mahasen,' and relief operation is going on there. Political meetings and rallies in the rest of the country cannot hamper relief operations or rehabilitation programmes in those areas.
Government should hold a dialogue with the opposition to solve the political deadlock. We neither want to see political turmoil nor autocratic attitude from an elected government. We want to get the true taste of democracy.
