Unique royal family tree
The future child of Prince William will inherit an interesting family tree from parents, as reported in your 'International' page on July 7th. This child will be a distant cousin (on father's side) of the earlier French President, Francois Mitterrand; while the mother is related to the first US President George Washington!
A further nugget of information is that Prince William is also related, through ancestors, to the wife of King Alphonse VI of Castilla (a former French kingdom) in the 12th century, who married a direct descendent of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). Strange indeed!
