At least four Bangladeshis injured in drone attack near Kuwait airport

At least four Bangladeshis were injured in a drone attack near Kuwait International Airport yesterday, the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment said.

One of the injured, Aminul Islam from Daulatpur village in Nabinagar upazila, Brahmanbaria, suffered a knee injury, according to the ministry’s senior secretary Niyamat Ullah Bhuiyan.

The other three were hurt by shattered glass caused by the blast. They are: Rakibul Islam from Bhulbariya village, Santhia upazila, Pabna; Masudur Rahman from Lotifpur village, Begumganj upazila, Noakhali; and Dulal Miah from Pathalia Kandi village in Cumilla.

The ministry secretary said they are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with the Bangladesh mission in Kuwait to ensure proper medical treatment and support for the injured.
