[WATCH] Little girl becomes the ‘bravest 6-yr-old’ in NZ

Star Online Report

Six- year-old Sarah Patel is bravery incarnate!

When kids of her age are scared of any stranger, this brave girl has shown phenomenal courage to stand up to a violent masked robber, reports Sky News.

CCTV footages show several masked burglars storming into her parents' electronics shop in Auckland, vandalise cabinets and steal valuables.

Sarah was seen running towards the masked assailants and grabbing leg of one of them in a bid to save Jordan, an employee in the shop.

But she, being very little in size and strength, was no match for the rogue who shrugged her off before her grandfather led her away to safety out of the shop, making sure she did not get hurt.

She later said she was not scared of tackling the attacker, Sky News quoted her.

Sarah's father, Suhail, told the New Zealand Herald that when asked her what she was actually trying to do, she replied she was trying to save Jordan!

Her mother, Nasrin, said Sarah told her she knows hurting someone is a bad thing and she wanted to stop it, but when she saw the axe she turned around and ran.

The whole incident had a negative impact on her, she was having problem in sleeping and got nausea and anxiety, Sky News quoted Nasrin.

What happened to the robbers?

Sarah's father also displayed an equally heroic fit, who chased the robbers' car and helped in cops' pursuit.

Five juvenile delinquents were nabbed by police in the end charged with robbery, injuring with intent and breaching bail.
