Pickup trucks aren't the most practical vehicles to own in Bangladesh, unless you fit tank treads on them and use it to drive over other cars in traffic or thwart off the impending doom of cocktail throwing mobsters. When the country isn't being burned to a fine crisp, though, pickup trucks offer a lot of practicality for long trips outside town, where you can load up the pickups with luggage and travel with peace of mind. They'll even make a great temporary home if you pitch a tent in the luggage bay, since the luxury resorts have resorted to (excuse the pun) ripping you off for spending some quiet time away from the desk.
