Bangladesh's Big Five have come together in these times of coronavirus outbreak to help out the team staff who has seen their income affected after cricket in the country came to a standstill.

The Bangladesh cricket team's contracted players had already paid a month of their salary to a government fund in order to fight the virus. The cricketers however have also been putting their individual effort to help out others in need. Mushfiqur Rahim had yesterday said that the bat he used to score Bangladesh's first-ever double ton was going to be put up for auction. A local daily yesterday also reported that Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur have come together to help out the massage personnel and team boys with a donation of one lakh Taka each.

'The five of us are helping out almost 50 of the team boys and massage man in a small way. We helped those who have been working with club teams and other cricket side with a five lakh Taka donation. It's a small step. Since there is no match now so there is no chance of them earning at the moment," Mushfiqur was quoted as saying by a daily newspaper yesterday.
