Mashrafe tests positive for coronavirus
Former Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza tested positive for coronavirus. Mashrafe's brother Morsalin Bin Mortaza confirmed the news of his infection today.
"Mashrafe had a fever for the past two days. His sample for coronavirus test was collected on Friday and it came back positive today. He has a slight fever with body aches. As he has no other symptoms, Mashrafe is currently receiving treatment at his home. He is staying in isolation with his family and is doing well at the moment and his family is also fine," informed Morsalin.
Mashrafe is an elected Member of Parliament of Narail-2. However, Dr. Abdul Momen, civil surgeon of Narail, informed that Mashrafe's sample for the virus was collected and tested in Dhaka.
"I saw the news on TV. Mashrafe is now in Dhaka. I think his coronavirus test was done in Dhaka. The MP did not provide any samples for testing here as I would have known had it been done here. But a few days back, Mashrafe's mother-in-law Hosne Ara tested positive for the virus and her samples were collected and tested here," informed Dr. Momen.
