Mushy wishes self-isolating Shakib a happy birthday

Bangladesh's Mushfiqur Rahim has wished all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan on his birthday.

Mushfiqur Rahim posted a picture of the two together while they were relaxing at the dressing room.

He captioned the picture with: "Happy birthday legend...May Allah bless you brother"

Shakib is currently serving a ban from all forms of cricket for two years with one of that suspended. He has shared the dressing room with Mushfiqur for over a decade and the two have many fond memories together including a partnership of 359 which was the highest partnership for Bangladesh in Test cricket.

Shakib posted an emotional message on Facebook on Sunday in which he expressed his pain of not being able to meet with his daughter as he is currently in self-isolation at a hotel in USA amid coronavirus scare.

In a video posted on his Facebook account, Shakib explained that he has decided to go into a 14-day self-isolation period to keep everyone around himself safe after he landed in USA a few days ago.
