Cricketers to be tested for coronavirus tomorrow

The Bangladesh national team players are set to start undergoing coronavirus tests from tomorrow, a BCB media release informed.

"As part of the BCB's Coronavirus management plan and to ensure player safety for training sessions leading up to the forthcoming Tour of Sri Lanka, sample for COVID-19 test will be collected from National Team players and probables and relevant support personnel tomorrow (Monday, 07 September 2020), the media release said."

Individual training of the players came to a halt from Friday after several members of the support staff exhibited coronavirus-like symptoms. The individual sessions at SBNCS will resume from September 9 following the coronavirus tests.
