Players, staff observe a minute silence in remembrance of Maradona

Star Online Report

Players of Gemcon Khulna, Minister Group Rajshahi, Gazi Group Chattogram and Beximco Dhaka, management staff and others present at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium for the ongoing Bangabandhu T20 Cup observed a minute of silence as a way of paying tribute to the Argentine football legend Diego Maradona, who died at the age of 60 on Wednesday after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The players paid their tribute after the post-match presentation of the first game of the day in which Najmul Hossain's Rajshahi picked up an easy six-wicket victory over a star-studded Khulna.
