Shakib in ICC’s ODI Team of the Decade

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been named in ICC's ODI team of the decade as ICC announced three teams of the decade for the three formats today.

The ICC's ODI team of the decade led by MS Dhoni includes star Indian batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. In the team, David Warner and Sharma have been picked as openers while former South Africa cricketer AB De Villiers is picked as a middle-order batsman. Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan and England's Ben Stokes are the two all-rounders in the team.

The pace attack includes Australian bowler Micthell Starc, New Zealand's Trent Boult, and Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga.

The ICC also announced the Test team of the decade and named Kohli as the skipper. The line-up includes some notable names like Alistair Cook, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, and Kumar Sangakkara. The bowling side is covered by Dale Steyn, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Dhoni was also named as captain of the T20I side.
