BCB announces revised match timings for New Zealand series
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday announced the revised starting times for the upcoming three ODIs and three T20Is against New Zealand at home, which was changed in alignment with the government’s energy austerity measures.
Earlier, the ODIs were set to be day-night affairs with a starting time of 3:00pm and the T20Is were supposed to be played entirely under artificial lights, with a starting time of 6:00pm.
According to the revised itinerary, the ODIs will begin at 11:00am and the T20Is will start at 2:00pm.
BCB ad hoc committee chief Tamim Iqbal had said on Wednesday that the match timings would be change to follow the government’s austerity measures and the next the board released the revised match timings.
The New Zealand team will land in Dhaka on April 13 and the series will begin with the first ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on the 17th.
The second one-dayer will happen in Mirpur on April 20 before both teams travel to Chattogram for the third and final ODI on the 23rd.
The first and second T20I will happen Chattogram on April 27, 29 and the final match will take place in Dhaka on May 2.
