BCB publishes draft voter list for upcoming elections

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Election Commission on Sunday announced the draft voters’ list for the upcoming board of directors’ elections, scheduled to be held on June 7. The Election Commission had announced the election schedule a day earlier.

BCB ad hoc president Tamim Iqbal will represent Old DOHS as a councillor in Category 2 in the upcoming elections.

According to the draft list, 66 councillors will represent the divisional and district sports associations. Former cricketer Minhajul Abedin Nannu will represent the Chattogram District Sports Association in Category 1.

In Category 2, which includes clubs, there are 76 councillors, while Category 3 consists of 42 councillors.

In Category 3, former players such as Mohammad Sanuar Hossain, Nafees Iqbal, and Talha Jubair, along with current selectors Naeem Islam and Nadif Chowdhury, will represent associations and organisations or former players’ representatives.

Meanwhile, Gazi Ashraf Hossain, Khaled Mahmud, Habibul Bashar, and Mahmudullah Riyad will participate in Category 3 as former captains.
