Former national forward-turned-coach Moududur Rahman Shuvo played a pivotal role in the Bangladesh U-21 hockey team's historic qualification for the Junior World Cup in his first assignment with the team. The BKSP coach, who holds FIH Level-2 credentials, had represented Bangladesh from 1998 to 2006 and retired from domestic hockey in 2010.
