The independent inquiry committee formed by the National Sports Council (NSC) to investigate irregularities in last year’s Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) election submitted its report on Sunday after completing its probe.

With three directors resigning on the same day, the number of departures from the current elected board has now risen to six since the October 6 elections last year.

The fourth board of directors meeting of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) was held yesterday in Mirpur. Extension of the captaincy tenures of its existing leadership groups in ODIs and T20Is, and the appointment of former cricketer Mohammad Rafique as a specialised BCB coach were the biggest outcomes from the meeting.
