Sophos brings cyber intelligence to Microsoft 365 and security copilot

Sophos, a global cybersecurity firm, has recently announced the integration of its threat intelligence platform, Sophos Intelix, with Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, providing organisations with real-time access to cyber intelligence within Microsoft's AI-powered environments.

According to a press release, within Microsoft Security Copilot, Sophos Intelix delivers enriched threat context for Security Operations Centre and IT teams. Analysts can query and investigate potential threats in natural language, using insights derived from Sophos' protection of more than 600,000 organisations worldwide. The integration connects data across Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, Entra, and Purview, giving teams immediate access to up-to-date threat intelligence.

Sophos Intelix will also be accessible through Microsoft's Security Store for third-party agents, managed services, and APIs. For Microsoft 365 users, Sophos Intelix provides threat intelligence within productivity tools such as Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. IT administrators, risk managers, and business users can query the platform to assess whether links, files, or domains are associated with known malicious activity, states the press release.
