Will 2015 Be The Best Movie Year Ever?

Here's 4 of next year's biggest films!

ANT-MAN (July 17)
A new player in Summer 2015 (now that it has moved up from November), the movie continues Marvel's Cinematic Universe, even as it begins shifting timelines and origins from what we knew in the past. For example, the lead character – Hank Pym – created Ultron… and yet, we're getting Ant-Man after Whedon's Ultron movie, which raises unanswered questions. Paul Rudd will play Ant-Man in the movie, and we assume he will be a major player in the upcoming Cinematic Universe. The cast also includes Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lily.

FANTASTIC FOUR (August 7)
After two largely half-hearted attempts to bring the beloved comic book to the screen, Fox is taking a third stab at creating a memorable Fantastic Four movie. The recent success of other Marvel character movies means audiences will be happy to risk the price of a ticket to see if this one captures the magic of the comic book. Director Josh Trank hopes to capture the rich world of the original stories with this latest effort. The 2005 movie of the Fantastic Four received a very mixed response, and many critics felt there was too much emphasis on humor. The Internet is buzzing with rumors about how the Fantastic Four may be introduced into the new Marvel universe. One of the most popular theories is that the characters may appear in the next X-Men movie.

BOND 24 (November 6)
The massive success of Skyfall (which raked in over $1 billion at the box office) proved that James Bond films are just as popular as ever. Craig's agent 007 is much more realistic than previous versions, and the movies have become more violent. Director Sam Mendes is set to return for this 24th instalment, working with Daniel Craig in his fourth movie as 007. Little is known about the new movie so far, but it's believed Penelope Cruz will appear as Bond's latest female partner. Daniel Craig has committed to at least two more Bond movies. Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista will join the cast of Bond 24.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII (December 18)
One of the biggest pieces of film news in 2012 came when it was announced that Disney had acquired Lucasfilm. There was a strong backlash from some Star Wars fans, and fears grew that Disney would spoil the memory of the earlier movies. Disney have given reassurances that future titles in the series will be true to the original, and it's hard not to be excited about the next instalments. The first new Star Wars film in over a decade will be directed by J.J. Abrams. With Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher all reprising their classic roles, the buzz is huge. The movie is rumoured to pick up the story after the events of “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.” It will take into account the passage of 30 years, with Luke, Han, and Leia appearing as older characters. Episode VII has the potential to revive the popular franchise for a third generation.
