India test fires nuke capable missile

India yesterday test-fired its medium range nuclear-capable missile having a strike range of 2,000 km.  The trial of the surface-to-surface Agni 2 missile was conducted from a mobile launcher at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) off the Bay of Bengal at around 8.38am, Indian defence sources said.
