ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER: THE COMEBACK KING

He did say he would be back! Arnold Schwarzenegger has returned to Hollywood in a major way, even at the age of 67! What has he not accomplished? An action superstar, bodybuilder, 7-time winner of Mr. Olympia, actor, filmmaker, activist, businessman, investor, writer, philanthropist, and politician: the man has lived quite a few lives. He retired from acting in 2003 after being appointed the the 38th Governor of California from 2003 until 2011, serving two terms. Schwarzenegger is considered among the most important figures in the history of bodybuilding, even today. In 2011, just weeks after leaving the Governor's office, Schwarzenegger announced that he was reading several new scripts for future films, including sequels to The Terminator and remakes of Predator and The Running Man, and that he was "packaging" a comic book character. The character was later revealed to be the Governator, star of the comic book and animated series of the same name. Schwarzenegger inspired the character and co-developed it with Stan Lee, who would have produced the series. Schwarzenegger would have voiced the Governator, but this production fell through. In July 2011, it was announced that Schwarzenegger was considering a comeback film. He appeared in The Expendables 2 (2012), and starred in The Last Stand (2013), his first leading role in 10 years, and Escape Plan (2013), his first co-starring role alongside Sylvester Stallone. He starred in Sabotage next, also in a leading role, released in March 2014. He is currently filming Maggie, and is set to star in Terminator: Genisys, both to be released in 2015. He will reprise his role as Conan the Barbarian in 'King Conan' in the future as well.

MAGGIE is an post-apocalyptic horror drama film, directed by Henry Hobson and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Abigail Breslin and Joely Richardson. The film is a dramatic departure for Schwarzenegger, who is more known for his action hero roles. Originally set to have its world premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, the film will now have a release date in early 2015 as Lionsgate bought the American distribution rights and pulled the film out of the festival's roster.

TERMINATOR: GENISYS is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Alan Taylor. It is the fifth installment in the Terminator series. Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role as the titular character, along with newcomers Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Courtney B. Vance, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee and J. K. Simmons. The film is scheduled to be released by Paramount Pictures on July 1, 2015.
