“Eki Shonar Aloye” on Gtv

On the fifth day of Eid ul Azha celebrations, Gtv will air a romantic TV play at 8:30pm directed by Chayanika Chowdhury and scripted by Masum Shahriar. Titled “Eki Shonar Aloye”, cast members include Afsana Mimi and Azad Abdul Kalam, among others. 

The plot revolves around a married couple who throw an anniversary party celebrating the first day they had fallen in love. The wife, played by Afsana Mimi, is a writer whereas her husband is a painter. Among the friends in attendance at the party is a young woman who works for a lifestyle magazine, and has an agenda to write a feature on the couple for the magazine's cover story.
