Prominent actor Aparna Ghosh will be acting in Onteshtikria, a film funded by the government for 2018-19. It is directed by Hosne Mobarok Rumi. The shooting of the film will start from October. Aparna has previously acted in films funded by the government.

Two films, Mayaboti and Obotar, were released nationwide on September 13. Mayaboti, starring Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Yash Rohan in the lead roles, is about a young girl named Maya who fights an uphill battle for justice.
