Index Agro receives ICSB ‘National Award 2021’

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) honored Index Agro Industries Ltd for outstanding corporate governance practices at the institutional level.

Salman F Rahman, prime minister's private industry and investment adviser, handed over the "ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2021" to Mahin Mazher, managing director of Index Agro Industries, at a function held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka recently, the company said in a statement.

Planning Minister MA Mannan, Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh attended the event as special guests and Asad Ullah, president of ICSB, presided over the function.

The platform of chartered secretary professionals awarded 37 organisations in 12 categories out of 175 participating companies, according to the statement.
