Pubali Bank wins awards at ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards

Pubali Bank PLC has won two awards at the 4th ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards 2026.

The awards were presented in the “Best Bank – Bangladesh” and “Best Performance on Growth – Bangladesh” categories.

Mohammad Ali, managing director of the bank, received the awards at the ceremony held at Le Méridien New Delhi in India recently. Ali said, “These honours are a reflection of the unwavering trust of our valued customers, the confidence of our shareholders, the visionary guidance of our board of directors, and the dedication, professionalism, and relentless commitment of our employees.”

“This achievement will continue to inspire Pubali Bank to deliver more responsible, innovative, and customer-centric banking services,” he said.

Expressing his views on the achievement, Monzurur Rahman, chairman of the bank, said that these international recognitions have further strengthened Pubali Bank PLC’s position as one of Bangladesh’s leading financial institutions. They reflect the bank’s unwavering commitment to banking excellence, sustainable growth, sound corporate governance, innovation, and superior customer service.

To celebrate this achievement, the bank organised a programme at its head office in Dhaka. Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder, former chairman; Habibur Rahman, Azizur Rahman, Md Abdur Razzak Mondal, Rana Laila Hafiz, Mustafa Ahmed, Arif Ahmed Choudhury and Kabir Ahmed, directors; and Mohammad Naushad Ali Chowdhury and Prof Hasina Sheykh, independent directors, attended the event.

Among others, Md Anisur Rahman, general manager and company secretary; Mohammad Liton Miah, general manager and chief financial officer; and Md Shah Alam, general manager and chief protocol officer, were also present.
