Shahjalal Islami Bank organises half-yearly business conference
Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC had organized “Half-Yearly Business Conference-2026” on July 30 at a local hotel in Coxsbazar through a hybrid platform.
The conference was presided over by Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, while Mohammed Younus, chairman of the board of directors of the bank, was present as chief guest, according to a press release.
Among others, directors of the bank Md Towhidur Rahman and Abdul Hakim, and independent director Md Reazul Karim were present at the conference.
Additional Managing Director of the bank Md Abdullah Al-Mamun, and deputy managing directors Rashed Sarwar and MM Saiful Islam participated and delivered speeches at the conference.
Deputy Managing Director Md Jafar Sadeq, discussed elaborately on the overall performance of the first six months of 2026.
Through this hybrid platform, more than 1,000 participants took part in the conference. SEVP and Company Secretary of the bank Md Abul Bashar moderated the conference.
At the conference, the speakers discussed the business performance of the first six months of the current year and urged taking necessary strategies and action plans to achieve the business target for the remaining time of the year.
