Southeast Bank offers home loans to Nodi Bangla customers

Southeast Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nodi Bangla Construction Ltd, a Narsingdi-based construction company, to provide loans at more attractive and affordable rates to the company’s customers.

Md Sekander-E-Azam, deputy managing director of the bank, and Monjur Elahi, chairman of the construction company and a member of parliament from the Narsingdi-3 constituency, signed the MoU at the bank’s head office in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, customers of Nodi Bangla Construction Ltd will be eligible for Southeast Bank’s home loans at concessional and competitive interest rates, along with other special benefits.

Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, managing director (current charge) of the bank; Md Mahbub Alam, additional managing director and chief risk officer; and Md Abdul Kader, vice-president of the retail banking division, along with other officials from both organisations, were also present at the signing ceremony.
