Israfil Ratan appointed acting proctor of DU
Appointment announced hours after Saifuddin Ahmed’s resignation as proctor

Associate Professor Israfil Ratan of the Department of Graphic Design at Dhaka University (DU) has been appointed acting proctor of the university.
The appointment was announced today in a press release signed by Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, director of the university's Public Relations Office.

According to the release, ABM Obaidul Islam, vice-chancellor of DU, appointed Israfil to the post today.
