1,000 union parishads to get high speed internet: Palak

State Minister for ICT division Zunaid Ahmed Palak yesterday said 1,000 union parishads will be brought under high speed internet facilities through optical fiber cables by next December.

As part of massive digitisation campaign, internet penetration will be increased to supplement the efforts of building "Digital Bangladesh", he told at an inaugural function of Digital Fair and Internet week at Goal-E-Afroz Government College in Singra upazila of Natore.
