Bangladesh Railway demolishes 250 illegal structures in Ctg

The authority of Bangladesh Railway (east zone) demolished around 250 illegal tin-roofed structures in CRB and Galachipa areas of Chittagong city yesterday.

The structures were built illegally occupying railway land and most of which were under risky hill-slope, said Abdul Bari, divisional estate officer (Headquarters) of Railway (east zone).

The Chittagong District Administration, Chittagong Metropolitan Police, Railway Police and Railway Nirapatta Bahini assisted the drive, he added.
