Cops again see reshuffle

The government yesterday transferred four senior officers to new postings, according to a home ministry circular issued yesterday.

Shahab Uddin Qureshi, deputy inspector general of Police Bureau of Investigation, was made the additional commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, and Mahbubur Rahman, the former additional commissioner, took up Qureshi's old post. Khandaker Golam Faruq, additional DIG of Dhaka Range, and Md Didar Ahmed, additional DIG of Khulna Range, have been given charges of additional police commissioners of DMP.
