Govt tells medical college admission coachers to halt till Sept 18

To ensure more transparency in the admission tests for MBBS and BDS, the health ministry asked medical admission coaching centres to halt their operations until September 18.

The admission tests are scheduled to be held on Friday. In a statement issued on August 31, the ministry said it had learnt that some cheats, corrupt and vested quarters were giving 100 percent assurance to the students of admission to medical and dental colleges.
