US-Bangladesh security dialogue Sept 11

Government and military officials of the US and Bangladesh will hold a dialogue on September 11 in Washington to enhance collaboration in security assistance and for countering terrorism and extremism, UN peacekeeping operations, and humanitarian assistance and disaster response. This will be the fourth such dialogue.

Additional Foreign Secretary Mizanur Rahman will lead the Bangladesh delegation, and the US delegation will be headed by Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM) Puneet Talwar.

US Chargé D'affaires David Meale yesterday said  Ambassador Marcia Bernicat is in the US now to attend the dialogue.
